We cannot be more excited to be a part of the beginning of the efforts to end the threat of Covid-19 by participating in vaccination clinics. While we are all ready to relax, we know that now it is more important than ever to continue using all of our tools to keep Covid-19 at bay, so that our community and our local areas can greatly reduce the threat of this virus.

Tools for fighting this virus include: wearing a mask, physical distancing, washing our hands, avoiding crowds, avoiding poorly ventilated areas, and getting the vaccine when given the opportunity. 

Community Update:

Our first Vaccination Clinic, held Tuesday, January 26th was a great success!  Thank you to all staff and residents who participated! The vaccine is a two dose series with a potential efficacy of 95% two weeks after the final dose. The second vaccination clinic is scheduled for February 16th. Residents and staff who received their first dose this past week will be able to get their second dose at that clinic. Residents or staff who missed this first clinic will be able to receive their first dose at the February 16th clinic date.  

Employee and resident testing for Covid-19 continues. Recent testing returned positive results for one additional resident. All employee results were negative. We will continue with routine monitoring of all residents and notify you directly if your family member exhibits symptoms or receives positive test results.
